Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - A quick response (Sabhara) unit of Banjarmasin City Police early Sunday morning seized thousands of G-rated drug suspected to be distributed illegally in Cempaka Market, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.


Sabhara Chief here, Kompol Haryono MT on Sunday said the seizure of thousands of G-rated drugs was in the raid called Operasi Pekat by withholding three players allegedly involved in the circulation of  these types of drugs.

The offenders are R (48), a resident of Jalan Simpang Sungai Mesa, H (23), Jalan Pasar Sepeda, Niaga Timur, residents, and H (30), a resident of Jalan Kampung Melayu. All three are residents of Banjarmasin.

From the three actors, police seized 2,270 pills of dextro, and drug carnophen 453 pills, 280 pills of hinophen, DXL conta 370 pills, 531 pills of yolanda drugs, and 183 pills of brown zenith.

"Drugs were seized in the stalls in the Cempaka, because it is sold without a  doctor prescription," he explained.

He added that, of the drug surveillance operation turned out to three kiosk that used to sell G-rated drugs without a prescription, and they do not have  pharmacist backgrounds.

Perpetrators submitted to the Police to undergo further processing in Banjarmasin Narcotics Unit Police for investigation of drug possession related the prohibited list.

The three of them could be charged under Article 81 paragraph (2) letter C Act No. 23 of 1992 on Health, under penalty of seven years in prison.
