The Banjarmasin City Culture and Tourisme Agency together with a tourism marketing expert presented the idea of virtual tourism or a tour from home to promote the city tourism.

According to the head of the agency Ihsan Alhaq, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic which is still not recovering, new ideas or activities in promoting tourism using virtual tourism will not only help but even become an investment in the future.

"The current condition of COVID-19 certainly makes everyone's movement very limited, while many people want to travel. Through virtual tourism everyone can enjoy tourism. It can even be enjoyed from home," said Ihsan Alhaq.

Through virtual tourism, people not only enjoy tourism but also have educational value. "Virtual tourism can attract tourist to come to Banjarmasin when COVID-19 cases slopes or things return to normal," he said.
