As office buildings had emerged as a new cluster of COVID-19 transmission, Duta Mall Banjarmasin, which also has an office area, conducted rapid test for all employees, Thursday (August 7, 2020).

Approximately 50 outsourcing and management employees underwent the test at the management office's clinic. The results showed all test samples were non-reactive.

"This preventive action is taken as an early preventive measure to avoid the possibility of office cluster in the spread of COVID-19 at Duta Mall," said Operations Manager Yenny Purwanti.

According to her, the non-reactivve results from the test were the result of the company's strict effort to implement COVID-19 health protocol.

These protocols include regular spraying of disinfectant in the office area, providing hand sanitizer, wearing masks as mandatory for management and outsourcing employees, keeping social distancing during work activities, checking body temperature for employees and guests before and after entering the office area.

Yenny sure, as long as personal and environmental cleanliness is maintained, the possibility of virus spreading will be smaller.

The management of Duta Mall invites the public to work together to unite to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by maintaining good body condition through healthy lifestyle, and discipline in applying health protocol.

"We hope this pandemic will soon pass then people and economic wheels can return to their normal activities, especially in the city of Banjarmasin," said Yenny.
