Tanjung, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The Tabalong Forestry Agency identifies land (enclave) release for public use in 32 villages spread over six subdistricts which all or part of its area are located in the forest.

Head of Patterning of the agency Mochamman Nur'Aini here on Wednesday said the purpose of identification is to clear the status of the land and settlements within the forest area, in order to obtain certainty in forest management.

Enclaves to be identified in Murung Pudak Subdistrict include the Village of Maburai, Kasiau, Lok Batu. While in Haruai Subdistrict it covers Marindi Village, Wirang, and Nawin. Then five villages in Upau Subdistrict covers Kinarum village, Pangelak , Kaong Village, Bilas and Masingai II.

Including eight villages in Muara Uya Subdistrict, namely are Salikung, Kumap, Binjai, Santuun, Uwie, Mangkupum, Kampung Baru and Lumbang Village. 

In the Jaro Subdistrict, the agency identifies Garagata Village, the Village of Jaro, Solan , Nalui, Muang, Taratau Village, Purui and Lano.

Part of areas in the Bintang Ara Subdistrict, includes Dambung Raya village, Hegar Manah, Burum and Bumi Makmur Village. But two of them are trans industrial plantations (HTI), namely Hegarmanah, in accordance with Forestry Ministerial Decree number 805 of 1998.

While four villages rated unfit to be proposed. They are Maburai, Kasiau, Masingai because most of the area get into the forest in the area of PKP2B PT Adaro Indonesia. And Nawin Village partly entry area of concession license for utilization of timber forest products (IUPHHK) PT Trikorindo Wana Karya.
