The Murung Raya, Central Kalimantan, Task Force for COVID-9 Handling Acceleration, received another assistance from the Adaro Metcoal Companies (AMC) in the form of an ambulance which came from Adaro Energy (AE) allotment.
Adaro Energy has allocated ambulances assistance for DKI Jakarta and Adaro Indonesia (AI) areas in South and Central Kalimantan, including the AMC area in Murung Raya.
The AMC External Relation Departement Head Ignatius Iryanto handed over the ambulance to Head of the Murung Raya Health Agency dr. Suria Siri and representatives of Mura's COVID-19 Task Force at the AMC site, Muara Tuhup.
“The allocation from AE to Murung Raya was sought because most of the patients are in remote areas, while the referral hospital is located far away," Ignatius explained.
The procurement of the ambulance is expected to contribute more to the handling of COVID-19 in Murung Raya considering the number of positive patients in the district is increasing.
Ignatius said, the assistance is expected to boost the acceleration of COVID-19 handling and positive patients would soon recover.
