Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - South Kalimantan provincial government through the National Unity and Political Agency (Kesbangpol) forming a coordination forum on terrorism prevention in 13 districts and cities, even to the subdistrict.

Chairman of the South Kalimantan Terrorism Prevention Coordinating Forum Hermansyah Manaf here on Monday said that the forum it is expected to detect optimally threat of terrorism disturbances.

"We want to increase community early awareness and preparedness of the various possible stability 
disturbances," he said.

The forum which has been formed in 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan, even at the subdistrict level, is 
designed to provide faster information related to the various things that happen in the community.

According to Herman, who is also head of Kesbangpol, these efforts is in anticipation, as it is believed there are 
currently no areas are declared 100 percent free of threats of terrorist acts and disruption of public order.

"From our meetings with BNPT (National Agency for Combating Terrorism) a few days ago in Jakarta, it can be concluded there is no safe area from terrorist. So all must be vigilant," he said.

Incidents such as the discovery of homemade weapons and store robberies that occurred a few times here , should be used as indications of the threat of terrorism , and it needs to be a together vigilance, he said.

Previously , South Kalimantan government with security forces have been mapped a variety of potential conflicts that may inadvertently raised by the individuals who are not responsible at the time of in process of General Election in April 2014.

Based on the analysis and mapping , there are at least 50 potential conflicts in South Kalimantan to watch out for by all parties, ranging from the public to the security forces.

Potential conflicts among others, are disorder of public order and safety, both in the urban areas to rural areas , such as theft, robbery and others.
