Deputy Director of Ulin Regional Hospital (RSUD Ulin) dr Muhammad Isa SpP stated based on the result of his coordination with Kotabaru's Pangeran Jaya Sumitra Hospital (RS-JPS) medical team there is no strong indication yet that China's ships crews were exposed to coronavirus.
According to Isa, at this time the two patients are in the process of observation by the medical team of the Kotabaru hospital.
"I have been communicated with the medical team of the Kotabaru hospital until now the patients are being observed," he said in Banjarmasin Thursday night (Feb 13, 2020).
As of tonight, he added, there was no strong indication that the two patients had the coronavirus. "The report is (they are) calm, there is no shortness of breath or others," he pointed out.
The lung specialist doctor (pulmonologist) hoped, information about the patients now being treated in Kotabaru hospital not to make people panic. The public asked to remain calm in response to the developing information.

About the possibility of the two patients to be referred to Ulin Hospital, Isa said, there is no certainty yet. "Patients are being observed and we continue to communicate. So we do not yet know the certainty whether to be referred to Ulin Hospital or not," he said.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) Syairi Mukhlis urged all offices that are the entry points for foreigners or patients with have no explanation of illness to be cautious.
"To all those related to the Kotabaru entrance, including harbor office, Port Health Authority (KKP), airport, and the supporting offices such as naval base and water police in Kotabaru to immediately raise caution," Syairi said.
Especially those who have just come from China, they should be monitored as a precaution measures.
About two patients being treated in RS-PJS, Syairi suggested, they would be referred to Ulin Hospital in Banjarmasin in term of facilities more ready and complete.
