Primary clinic owned by the Tabalong National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) has so far served 48 drug users for rehabilitation.
"This year we have rehabilitated 48 drug users through our primary clinic," Head of Tabalong BNNK Husni Thamrin said in Tanjung, Monday (Dec 23, 2019).
In accordance with the standards of service, the BNNK Tabalong's primary clinic has doctors and psychologists to support the rehabilitation program.
But, he explained, the rehabilitation service is also provided by government-owned rehabilitation institutions, such as the Puskesmas (commnity health center) Kelua and Puskesmas Muara Uya.

Husni asserted that this service is provided free of charge for narcotics users from anywhere, as long as they have their identities (ID).
Head of the agency said, while providing rehabilitation service, the prevention of drug use continues to be intensified in the local district community. It also held dissemination of national strategy for the eradication of the abuse and trafficking of the illicit substance (P4GN).
The BNNK has so far held 57 disseminations, 38 urine test, targeting State Civil Apparatus, company employees, residents, till students.
"We also have formed volunteers and anti-drug activists which involved community and government," Husni said.

The antidrug volunteers have been formed in Tanta Village and Mabuun sub-district. While the activits include 10 Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) and a number of villages, including Pasar Panas, Jaro and Garagata.
