Hundreds of inmates in the Tanjung Class 3 Correctional House in Tabalong District participated in HIV/AIDS dangers socialization, Tuesday (Dec 17, 2019).
The dissemination and counseling organized by PT Adaro Indonesia together with 13 partners in commemoration of World HIV/AIDS Day December 1, 2019.
"The counseling of the dangers of HIV/AIDS is done by representatives of Health Agency, community health center (puskesmas), and the companies for 271 inmates," said Head of the Tanjung Class 3 Correctional House Herliadi.

Each of the sourceperson delivered materials related to understanding of HIV/AIDS, how it spreds, and it prevention efforts.
From PT Adaro Indonesia dr Dian Riani, from Puskesmas Mabuun dr Rima, and from Tabalong Health Agency Wahyu provided additional insights about HIV/AIDS for the inmates.
"HIV is a virus that damages body's immunity, while AIDS is the name of a disease caused by the HIV virus," Rima explained.

Meanwhile, PT Adaro's parters who involved in the activities included PT Eka Dharma Jaya Sakti, PT Hexindo Adi Perkasa, PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering, PT Rante Mutiara Insani, PT Akatara Bintang Perwira, and PT WIdya Sapta Contractor.
And also PT Trakindo Utama, PT Budi Anugrah Bersama, PT Samudera Makmur Abadi, PT Harapan Kita Bersama, PT Tirta Marta, PT Nusateq Intercontinental and PT Kalimantan Prima Persada.
