The Tabalong Legislative Council (DPRD) has collaborated with the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Banjarmasin in increasing the HR capacity of the legislative leaders and members.
Secretary of Tabalong DPRD Muhammad Dimyati said this year HR capacity increasing related to optimization of the roles of leaders and members in doing their duties and functions.
"Twice a year members of council follow technical guidance (bimtek) in cooperation with ULM," Dimyati explained.
The technical guidance on deepening of duties for DPRD leaders and members held on Dec 20-22, 2019 at the Aria Barito Hotel in Banjarmasin was opened by Deputy Speaker Jurni with Deputy Rector of ULM Aminudin.

30 legislators attended the bimtek which presented academics lectures from the Faculty of Economics and Business Akhmad Yunani and Prof Dr Wahyu. Including motivator Samsul Rani and legal practitioner Yuni Indriaswary Barito.
On the first day, the legislators were given insights related to concept of planning by Akhmad Yunani.

The consistency of planning on the budget draft, according to him, can be seen from whether the government program is compatible or not with with vision and mission of the regional head.
Including referring to the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) made by executive with approval of the council.
