Haze again covered the city of Banjarmasin and its surroundings from morning till noon on Sunday (15/9), but it did not disturbed people daily activities.

The city's air pollution standard index (ISPU), broadcasted by official website of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, showed its air quality was on the medium category.

According to the data, which was valid from September 14 at 03.00 pm till September 15 at 03.00 pm, its ISPU was recorded at 59 based on particulate parameters.

The haze resulted from land dan forest fire had not interrupted view and did not impeded traffic as it was on Saturday (14/9).

Thick smog in the last few days have disrupted flights schedule in Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin Airport. Even on Saturday (14/9), visibility was only 50 meters to 200 meters in the morning, said the airport GM Indah Preastuty.

Whereas pilot could only take-off the plane with a minimal visibility of 500 to 600 meter and 800 meter for landing.
