The Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) representative of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) expressed pride in the success of sprinter Dina Aulia winning the women's U-16 100 meter hurdles gold medal at the 22th Thailand Sports School Khon Kaen Games 2019 in Bangkok, Monday(5/8).


"I appreciate and very proud that KONI HST seedling athlete Dina Aulia who is now studying at the Ragunan Jakarta Special Sports School (SKO) managed to win at the ASEAN level while breaking the TSSG record last year from 14.70 seconds to 14.34 seconds," said KONI HST Chairman Yajid Fahmi in Barabai, Wednesday (8/17).

On behalf of all sports people in Bumi Murakata (HST), he congratulated Dina Aulia that she had scented Indonesia on the international scene, scented South Kalimantan Province and also the Bumi Murakata.

Dina Aulia in South Kalimantan Provincial Games (Porprov) 2017 presented a gold medal for the women's 200 meter, two more golds from the 4 x 100 meter relay athletics and the 4 X 400 meter relay.

"After attending SKO Ragunan, Dina's achievements skyrocketed. We are optimistic that her achievements will shine even more at the Porprov 2021, even at PON (National Games)," said Yajid while hoping that the achievements shown by Dina would become motivation and encouragement for the revival of sporting achievements in the HST.

The same pride was expressed by coach Muhammad Taher as the first to intensively trained Dina in Barabai before she honed herself in the Ragunan SKO.

"Dina has the determination and willingness to practice and high discipline to achieve and that has been proven," said Taher who hopes that his former student continue to practice and train even harder to achieve better achievements in the future.

While Dina Aulia's older sister, Mujalipah, who is also an outstanding sprinter, expressed a sense of luck and pride for the achievements of her beloved sister.

"I hope to be able to gather with Dina to come back to defend HST at the coming Porprov 2021 event," said the girl who won the gold medal for women's 100 meters at the 2017 Porprov in Tabalong.

Mujalipah who now works as a Satpol PP officer in Barabai claimed she and Dina were only from simple farming family in their hometown of Banua Asam/Hanyar Village, Pandawan Sub-district.
