The Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) urged the district government to immediately complete and fulfill the requirements for the development of Gusti Syamsir Alam Airport, Stagen, till the improvement of the facility would soon be realized.
The Kotabaru DPRD Speaker Hj Alfisah here said on Tuesday to speed up the construction of the airport all preparations must be made.
"What should be fulfilled is what is the condition for the development of the airport," she said.
Alfisah stated that the legislature as part of the regional government would always be ready to support the policy in the construction of public facilities in accordance with their functions and authorities.
Through DPRD equipment, both commissions, budget bodies and special committees, if necessary, the legislature will always coordinate with relevant agencies.

Previously Alfisah suggested the development of Gusti Syamsir Alam Stagen Airport be directed to land, so that there will be a national road transfer which also means the development of new area.
