The ranks of the Tapin police in South Kalimantan conducted a surgery on the homes of disadvantaged resident in the framework of the 73rd anniversary of Bhayangkara in 2019.


It was grandma Hamdanah, an 85-year-old woman, who was fortunate. Her home in Suato Tatakan Village, South Tapin Sub-district, Tapin Regency, "transformed" to become better and livable.

"Alhamdulillah, thank you, the police officers have repaired my house. Hopefully this good favor of the police will be repaid by Allah Subhanu wa Ta'ala," said Hamdanah, the old widow who lives alone, Tuesday.

Renovation was carried out by members of the police assisted by the local community under the command of the Tapin South Police Chief First Insp (Iptu) Singgih Aditiya Utama.

The completion of the renovation was marked by the symbolic handover of the door keys by Tapin Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Bagus Suseno.

Hamdanah seemed happy when she saw her house building now better than before.

The police chief was also happy because what his staff did was beneficial to the community.

"I appreciate all members who have participated in this house surgery program. Keep doing the best for the community," said Bagus.

In addition to home surgery, Hamdanah also received basic food assistance, mattresses, cabinets and dispensers to complete the furniture in her small-sized house.
