The Tabalong District Agricultural Agency (Distan) will realize subsidized fertilizer assistance for farmers in accordance with the Definitive Plan for the 2020 Group Needs.

Syaipul Yuzan, Head of Facilities and Production of the agency, said that the distribution of subsidized fertilizer will be carried out in stages for farmers who hold card.

According to him, the requirement to get subsidized fertilizers through farm cards must have a maximum of 2 hectares of land, both plant, plantation and food.

"Farmers who have more than 2 hectares of land must buy non-subsidized fertilizer," Syaipul explained.

The plan for the Ministry of Agriculture's subsidized fertilizer includes Urea, SP-36, ZA, NPK, and Organic according to the proposal in group need definitive plan (RDKK).

South Kalimantan Crop and Horticulture Office data shows 8,246 farmers registered in RDKK out of 24,000 farmers in Tabalong District.

"Farmers who have not registered must complete RDKK before the end of July in preparation for determining the quota or the amount in 2020," explained representative of the South Kalimantan Food and Horticulture Agency Radiansyah.
