Buying and selling transactions that occurred during the Saijaan Expo 2019 development exhibition posted a turnover of IDR 2.4 billion.


Chairperson of the 2019 Saijaan Expo Committee Zainal Arifin said on Thursday there was an increase of around Rp200 million compared to the previous year's turnover of Rp2.2 billion.

"We record all sell data every night, the results for 10 days reached Rp2.4 billion, which means it is bigger than last year," he said on the eve of the closing of the 2019 Saijaan Expo.

There were around 86 small and medium micro businesses from inside and outside the district plus 50 MSMEs assisted by the Cooperative, SME and Industry Offices of Kotabaru participating in the Saijaan Expo 2019.

"The best-selling are various household goods, there is even one trader who on the fourth day has earned Rp148 million," he added.

In addition to buying and selling transactions, there were also recorded motor vehicle tax payment transactions through the Samsat Kotabaru booth valued at Rp146 million, and payment of Land and Building Taxes (PBB) through the Kotabaru Tax and Retribution Management Agency booth of Rp124 million.
