Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - A total of 210,000 participants from various groups took part in the 2019 Millennial Road Safety Festival (MRSF) located in the courtyard of the South Kalimantan Governor's Office in Banjarbaru.
They arrived at the event which began with Millennial Colossal Gymnastics, followed by the Color Fun Walk or the Millennial Healthy Walk from 6:30.
The activity initiated by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Directorate of Traffic was welcomed by residents, attended by South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor, South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani, Deputy Regional Police Chief Brigadier General Aneka Pristafuddin, and other police officers.
Also present were all police chiefs, the 101 Antasari Provincial Military Commander Colonel Inf. Mohammad Syech Ismed, Banjarmasin Naval Base Commander Marine Colonel (P) Wijayanto, Forkopimda (members of regional leader coordination forum) of South Kalimantan and Banjarbaru City, and other invited guests.
Governor Sahbirin Noor said he highly appreciated the implementation of the peak of the 2019 Millennial Road Safety Festival which was held to reduce the number of casualties of traffic accidents, especially victims from millennials.
"The event was very outrageous and not only followed by millennials but also mothers and men who flooded the location of the activity. The number of prizes also attracted the people," said the governor.
