Paringin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Millennial Road Safety Festival (MSRF) 2019 with an Umrah prize held by Balangan Resort Police has attracted thousands of residents from eight sub-districts in the regency on Sunday (3/3).
Since 6:00 a.m. people flocked the event which was centered at the terminal in Paringin, the district capital. Various events performed, such as two-wheeled vehicles attraction and other entertainments.
But people main focus was directed to the healthy walk with big prizes, the main were Umrah to the holy land of Mecca, holiday tickets to Yogya, motorbike, mountain bike, and dozens of other door prizes.
No doubt, coupons provided for as many as 12 thousand were not enough for participants. The Balangan Resort Police member deftly responded by issuing additional tickets for up to thousands of pieces made manually so the people were not disappointed.
This festival was held to invite the younger generation called millennials to ride their vehicles orderly and obedient. The event started with freestyle, colossal millennial gymnastics, and the release of air balloons by Balangan Regent H Ansharuddin, Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Moh Zamroni and all invited guests.
AKBP Moh Zamroni conveyed the millennial generation, came from ages 17 to 35 years, had a very important role in road safety. They are the pioneers of orderly traffic, the pioneer of the realization of road safety, and become part of the road safety center.
