Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Barito Putera was held by his guest Bali United with a draw of 1-1 on the Go-Jek Liga 1 continuation match at the 17 Mei Stadium Banjarmasin, Tuesday.
Barito Putera had to bury the victory after his player Douglas Packer's goal in the 20th minute was equalized by Bali United in the 41st minute through Antonius Jahannes Melvin Platje.
The goal was nested in Barito's goal which was guarded by Aditya Harlan after the feedback offered by M Taufik could be exploited by Antonius after being released from the offside trap.
Quietly, Antonius deluded Barito goalkeeper with his right-foot shot into the corner of the goal.
While Barito's goal was carved by Douglas Packer from the penalty spot after the opponent's defender touched the ball inside the forbidden box.
Although Barito included Rizky Rizaldi Pora in the middle of the second half to sharpen the attack, until the final whistle, the result remained the same 1-1.
Bali United coach Widodo Cahyono Putro said his team's match with Barito was very exciting.
"This is the maximum result that we have obtained, because defeating Barito Putera in his home is very difficult, of course," he said.
Meanwhile, Barito coach Jacksen Ferreira Tiago said the match with Bali United was very much a burden for him as the coach had to endure patience.
Primarily, he said, the field referees who he considered were not fair enough, even when setting a goal against his team that he judged was clearly offside.
"I never commented on the referee, but this time I thought it was too much," he said withholding his emotions.
