Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Public Relations of SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities) for Kalimantan and West Sulawesi Sebastian Julius expects South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi to immediately finalize local regulations and a local company to follow up the process sharing of oil and gas.
According to Julius, Vice President Jusuf Kalla has decided that the two provinces will get the production sharing of oil and gas in Lari-larian Island.
However, he added, there are provisions that must be met by the two provinces, including local regulations and local companies.
"This issue, we have socialized to each province, and they have understood," he said.
"About the local company, the information is the two provinces, South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi, have established but must be checked to ensure," he said.
According to Julius, it hopes all the provisions must be prepared by the two provinces, to be completed in June 2018.
In accordance with the provisions, the revenue-sharing fund is 10 percent. Because there are two provinces, there must be supporting rules to share the fund.
"Until now, there is no talk about the provisions, each province will get what percent, because it is still in the process of completing the requirements," he said.
