Kotabaru DPRD, government synchronize RPJPD

Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru DPRD and government equalize their views and strengtening the regional long-term development plan (RPJPD) and regional regulation formation programs (Propemperda) of the district.

Deputy Chair II of the Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairil Anwar conveyed this when attending technical guidance and deepeninging of duties and functions of the DPRD in Banjarmasin. The activity was held during November 1-3, 2024.

"This activity aims to align development in Kotabaru," said Chairil Anwar in Banjarmasin, Sunday.

He said the activity attended by members of Kotabaru DPRD  was an effort to strengthen and deepen material regarding main functions and tasks of DPRD toward RPJPD in order to strengthen each other of the two parties.

"So that development in Kotabaru in the next five years will be right on target," he said.

In addition, development targets that are in line with the people's aspirations would be realized based on priority scale which has been well-arranged through the Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) in villages, sub-districts, and the district.

"This activity will also synchronize Propemperda, which will be decided at the DPRD, so that it really be implemented for the progress of Kotabaru," he said.

Propemperda, to be launched in 2025, he said, needs the support of all parties, including the provincial and Kotabaru district government.

He hopes the technical guidance and material deepening from the South Kalimantan Legal Bureau, the Kotabaru Borad of Development Planning (Bappeda), and the provincial Bappeda can provide understanding to technical aspects of the guidelines and have legal forces, so that their implementations are in line and in harmony for the progress of the people of Bumi Saijaan (Kotabaru's nickname).
