Barabai, South Kalimantan, 24/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The government of Central Hulu Sungai (HST), South Kalimantan, is implementing a computerized program to rearrange parking at the same time increasing revenue from the sector.
Vice Regent HST HA Chairansyah in Barabai on Tuesday said on the first phase the program conducted at three locations, namely Keramat Market, Murakata Market, and Damanhuri Hospital.

"Of the three locations, there are seven-points portal, which includes three points in Keramat market, three in Murakata Market, and 1 point in the H Damanhuri Hospital," he said.
According to the Vice Regent, use of automated parking system not only to boost revenue (PAD) in taxes, but also to provide convenience and comfort for parking users.
"The automatic parking portal also aims to provide comfort to people who park their vehicles," he said.
Regarding the cost of the parking portal which is taped to the entrance and exit are Rp1,000 for bicycles, Rp2,000 for motorcycle, Rp3,000 for cars Rp4.000 trucks or pickup truck once entered.
Another benefit of this computerized system is the market will look neat, clean and well ordered. In addition, the security will be felt by the parking attendant, because in the parking lot already provided with a permanent roof to be safe from rain and sun heat.
"The government has also set up a security force to maintain security vehicles ranging from 07.00 am to 17.00 pm," he said.
