Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) emphasized the need for the 2025 State Budget Draft (RAPBN) to accommodate programs planned by President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"This morning, we will talk about the 2025 RAPBN, and I want the 2025 APBN (State Budget) plan to accommodate all the programs of the elected president," President Jokowi noted in his opening remarks at a limited meeting at the Presidential Office, Presidential Palace, here on Monday.
The limited meeting with several ministers of the Advanced Indonesia cabinet discussed the government's work plan, financial note, and the 2025 Draft State Budget.
In his remarks, President Jokowi emphasized four points in the 2025 RAPBN.
President Jokowi also reminded that the State Budget Draft should be prepared in light of the risk of a global economic slowdown that could cause a food crisis and an increase in oil prices.
"The most important aspect is to be aware of the risk of a global economic slowdown, both in interest rate policies and the escalating geopolitical situation, which could potentially lead to a food crisis and rising oil prices," the president stated.
