Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia (AMI) won the international Gold Award in the category of Best Community Programme Award at the 16th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit And Award 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam, Thursday, April 25, 2024.
PT AMI was bestowed the international Gold Award for its stunting acceleration reduction program carried out in Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan, from 2018 to 2023.
The company, said External Relation Division Head of PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Fery Basrah in Jakarta, Saturday (April 27, 2024), is committed to reducing stunting prevalence by optimizing the role of posyandu (integrated service posts) that paying attention to Dayak culture and tradition, empowring local communities and pentahelix colaboration.

"The program has been implemented in 23 villages fostered by Adaro in Murung Raya District since 2018 through revitalizing function and role of posyandu," said Ferry.
PT AMI made the achievement in its first participation at the Pinnacle Group International in Hanoi, Vietnam, Thursday.

Global CSR & ESG Summit And Award 2024 is an Asia's prestigious award for companies that have contributed positively in carrying out environmental, social, and governance (ESG) as well as Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).
PT AMI's management took effort to mitigate stunting through training for health workers and posyandu cadres to increase their capacity and able to run posyandu services optimally and consistently.
Including village midwives who are trusted by the community during pre and post-natal care are assisted by health workers so that the process of handling birth can be optimal.
