"This is a good plan in the future for the development of Basirih landfill," said acting Mayor Akhmad Fydayeen at the City Hall, Tuesday.
He hopes the cooperation with the investor, PT Talenta Bumi Energy, will help to overcome the garbage problem in the city which is increasingly piling up.
In addition to producing alternative fuels to replace fossil fuels (coal), the development of the land will also result in improved environmental quality, as well as reducing the need for wasteland.
