The SOBP Rantau Operation Manager Eko Rusdiono said the target of the school is to capture the interests and talent of children in Tapin so they could take part in elite team selection for U-14 and U-16 of Barito Putra football club.
"We usually have a Trofeo (competition) among SOBP branches in mini Hasnur arena Banjarbaru every three months. All at once to showcase the new potential in front of coaches and management of Hasnur Group. In South Kalimantan, SOBP already exist in Banjarmasin, Tabalong, Tapin, and Barabai. It is targeted to be in all districts and cities in South Kalimantan," he said, Tuesday.
Present in early April in Tapin, the SOBP will admit as many children as possible who want to join. They will be screened by age from 6 to 16 years.
"We have quite a lot of students, by we are still promoting. It's a bit difficult to promote because all schools are off," he said.

To parents in Tapin, he informed, if they want their children to join the SOBP please come to Dwi Dharma Rantau field during the training schedule on Tuesday dan Friday from 16.00 to 18.00.
The prospective students are expected to bring soccer shoes, sport clothes, and comply with health protocols.
"The curriculum we use is Barito Putra's long-time athlete development and enriched with FILANESIA and Real Madrid curriculum. Trained by a team of competent and licensed coaches, and equipped with semester report of children's growth and development," he said.
