"Balangan is a crossing place of narcotics, so we will do a strict supervision in areas prone to circulation of the illicit goods," said Head of Narcotics Unit AKP Dany Sulistiono in Banjarmasin on Sunday.
He said that, as it is in a crossing areas, the Drug Unit continues to develop and investigate every perpetrator caught. "And currently known small dealers in this region," he said.
Balangan Police Narcotics Unit has done mapping to be easier to conduct surveillance and investigation in the field. Areas included in mapping those allegedly drug trafficking places and a culprit has been captured overthere.
Dany also said that, during the year 2014 Balangan Police Narcotics Unit has dealt with 24 cases of narcotics and there are 27 suspects were arrested.
