Wamendikbud Sure 2013 Curriculum Running Smooth

Banjarmasin , South Kalimantan ( Antaranews ) - Deputy Education and Culture Minister (Wamendikbud) Musliar Kasim said the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at a number of schools run smoothly. Moderate concerns of teachers to various implementation constraints has not been proven.

Musliar Kasim after attending a student graduation at the University of Lambung Mangkurat here on Saturday revealed the observations by the ministery (Kemendikbud) at several schools showed almost no problems in the implementation.

"Please check some schools to ensure how the implementation of this new curriculum, God willing it was smooth and there were no significant issues," he said.

Nevertheless, he added, to improve the implementation and execution of 2013 curriculum in the entire school in 2014, it is now being evaluated by Kemendikbud.

Evaluation , among others, through census method , instead of surveying and sampling , but involved the whole school curriculum of 2013.

The evaluation results will be a factor for the improvement of the new curriculum which is now running at 6,326 schools in Indonesia, and only 111 schools in seven districts and cities in South Kalimantan.
