Governor Ask PNS to Improve Services During Ramadhan

Banjarmasin, 9/7 (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - South Kalimantan Governor Rudy Ariffin asked civil servants (PNS) to maintain good quality services to the community during Ramadhan.

Through the Head of Public Relations of South Kalimantan provincial government, Haris Makie, here on Tuesday he said, during Ramadan civil services to the community will not be reduced. "Even we have to improve the quality of public services in order to get a more religious values," he said.

However, based on a circular of Governor, civil servants working hours reduced to 1.5 hours per day, ie from 08:00 to 15:00 from usually 07:30 to 16:00 pm. As well as on Friday, it reduced to one hour from 08.00 until 11:30.

In addition, other activities, like regular meetings of heads of agencies with the governor every Wednesday, so did regular exercise on Friday, were temporarily abolished.

"During Ramadhan, activities focused on services. Activities beyond routine services dispensed, so not to interfere with the quality of civil services as well as fasting PNS," he said.

Because of the reduction in working hours than usual, the people who will do business with the government are expected to adjust the set time.
