Seven people were killed after the car in which they were travelling was rammed by train at a level crossing in Jaya Mulya village, Indramayu district, West Java province. Chief of the Indramayu Police Resort Adjunct Senior Commissioner Yoris M.Y Marzuki confirmed the accident which claimed the lives of seven people.
"It is true there has been traffic accident at a level crossing in which a car was rammed (by train)," Public Relations Manager of state railway company's operation region 3 in Cirebon, West Java, Kuswardojo said.
He was on the way to the scene of the accident.
