Regent Kotabaru H Sayed Jafar and his entourage conducted a safari of Ramadhan and hospitality while at the same time breaking the fast together with the community and religious leaders in Tanjung Selamantakan Village, South Pamukan Sub-district. Wednesday (15/5)


The Regent, who accompanied by his wife and SOPD officials, the sub-district heads and a number of village heads, had a dialogue with the community. They took place at the Jami Mosque of Nurul Ihsan.

The Regent, through the Head of the Fisheries and Marine Agency Ir Mochran, said marine fisheries are potentially very large incomes. Marine fisheries produce, among others, seaweed cultivation, milkfish ponds, shrimp farming, and others.

"Kotabaru has enormous potential in marine fisheries, moreover the majority of people live on the coast of the sea," he remarked.

The regent of Kotabaru then handed over a number of aid, namely Rp10 million for the Jami Mosque of Nurul Ihsan, Tanjung Selamantakan Village, for the Tahfiz House Fastabiqul Khairat, Tanjung Selamantakan Village, also Rp10 million.

The 2019 grant for the Nurul Amal Mosque in Gunung Calang Village was IDR50 million, assistance for the management of Al Adiyat Mosque in Gunung Calang Village of IDR 200 million, for the management of Nurul Iman Mosque in Sakalimau Village of IDR 100 million, and some hand sprayer assistance for three farmer groups in Pamukan Selatan Sub-district.
