Regent Tapin HM Arifin Arpan asked the residents to plant trees in an effort to maintain the environment in the district to remain comfortable and beautiful.


The regent was speaking at a tree planting event held together with PT Antang Gunung Meratus at the conservation area of bekantan or proboscis mongkey.

On that occasion, the Regent asked all residents to jointly care for the environment, not just to maintain comfort but also for the preservation of the existing ecosystem.

"It is our duty to protect the good and green nature so it can be better according to the agreed program," he said.

The Tapin Regent is one of the regional heads who is vigorous in its efforts to preserve the environment through planting trees to improve the welfare of the community.

Even Tapin is an area that is now aggressively developing bamboo forest tourism through a bamboo planting movement for the future (Rabu Mapan program) to support the tourism and industrial sectors like tourism in China.
     
The development of bamboo plants is also to meet the needs of raw materials for craftsmen.
     
The program was supported by the Rantau Community for River Lovers by planting tree seeds around the Binuang Dam area, Binuang Sub-district since 2018.
     
The activity in an effort to green around the Binuang River and Binuang Dam, also to invite students to fill positive activities during the holidays.

The Binuang River and dam areas were chosen in the action of reforestation due to the lack of trees around them.
