A number of students assisted by the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation in Balangan Regency participated in the equivalent of the 2019 National Scientific Writing Contest.


They, two teams from different schools in Balangan, were the winners of the Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Student Association in the ULM Central Library Hall, Thursday (3/21).

"Thank God our students won first place," said SMK 1 Paringin tutor teacher Izuddin Syarif.

The Paringin 1 SMKN team, namely M Farhat Adha Diannur and M Fahrizanor, presented their work safety devices a voltage drop that is useful if there is a voltage drop. The tool serves to stop the entry of voltage, thereby reducing the risk of damage to household appliances.

The work of the student of the Electric Power Instation Expertise Program successfully lured the jury.

While the team from MAN 2 Balangan consisting of Ghafiratun Al-Fitriani and Mochamad Rochzkin Chorong, presented lightweight concrete blocks by utilizing styrofoam waste as an additional material in making building walls.

The work of the students fostered by the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation won the second hopeful winner in the competition with the theme "Application of science and technology in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 to create a competitive generation".
