Two tour buses and three public transport buses belonging to the Banjarbaru City Government were provided to transport worshipers of haul of KH Zaini Abdul Gani, better known as Abah Guru Sekumpul, to the nearest location.


Head of Transportation Office Ahmad Yani in the city of Banjarbaru on Sunday said the five buses were standby at Murjani Square in front of City Hall and were ready to take a group of worshipers.

"Bus standby at Murjani since Sunday morning and take turns delivering a group of pilgrims to Jalan Ahmad Yani, 38 km, which is the closest point to the location of the haul, then they walk," he said.

Free bus services were provided not only when pilgrims go to the haul location, but also when they returned were picked up from the delivery point to return to Murjani field.

"The pilgrims returning from the haul location will also be picked up and transported by bus back to Murjani. It is estimated that pilgrims will gradually return home from 22.00 and the bus standby at the delivery location," he said.

In addition to two tourist buses and three transport buses, pilgrims were also transported by three pick-up cars belonging to the Banjarbaru BPBD (Disaster Mitigation Agency) and one Satpol PP (Public Order Agency) truck that also served from Murjani Field.

Monitoring at Murjani Square at 12:15, dozens of pilgrim buses from various cities such as Palangkaraya and Kapuas, Central Kalimantan, were parked inside the field, and the pilgrims then dropped off by bus.
