Regent South Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) H. Achmad Fikry suggested every taxpayer, including companies operating in the district and government employees (ASN), to submit their annual tax return form (SPT) before the March 31 deadline.

Annual SPT report can now be done online and the regent reminded that state revenues from taxes are very much needed by the district.

"We hope (taxpayers) can provide support to the tax office to achieve the state revenue target, because the state revenue is felt and is needed by the region," he said.

HSS Regent H. Achmad Fikry spoke while attending the exemplary week for annual tax return for income tax (PPh) through e-Filing in Kandangan on Wednesday.

The head of the Barabai Primary Taxation Office (KPP) Rodianto Gurning said e-Filing is a way to deliver SPT online and real-time through the website or an application provided by the Application Service Provider.

"We express our gratitude to the HSS Regent and government for their appreciation and determination to report the SPT before the time period. We hope this example can be emulated by all taxpayers in HSS," he said.

He appreciated the policy of the HSS government which obliged all companies operating in HSS to register at the Barabai KPP, because the tax would become the HSS Regency Original Revenue (PAD).
