Paringin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Sahabat Balangan Center (SBC) social activist in Balangan, South Kalimantan, continues to help the community with various social programs that are aligned with local government programs, even nationally.

Overall, said Chairman of the SBC Dewi Purwanti, Thursday (29/11), their activities are more concerned with the social environment of the community, so that they could help the government ease the burden of people, and even help national governments .

"As the old saying goes, do not ask what the state gives you, but ask what you give to the state. For that we must contribute to the community, not only can we blame the government, without doing anything," she said.

SBC includes helping people who have difficulties accessing the BPJS-Health JKN-KIS program, so they finally get service.

The government's home rehab program through the social service, sometimes collided with the system, as a rule that requires certainty of land ownership, then SBC plays its role through self-help of members and donations from donors.

"There will be many ways to help citizens if there is intention, as long as they are not based on personal and group interests, especially political interests," Dewi explained.

SBC also took action for distribution of basic needs, Eid parcel, breaking fast with the poor, health assistance that was synchronized with the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Awards for BPJS-Health program achieved by the Balangan District Government.

There are healthy latrines, blood donors, fostering and capital of SMEs for the poor, and even seeking university entrance fees and semester fees, she concluded.
