Among the evidence destroyed were two illegal firearms and 17 bullets, as well as narcotics and illegal drugs.
"Evidence that has been destroyed has permanent legal force, so it must be destroyed to prevent undesirable things," said Banjarbaru Prosecutors Office head Silvia Desty Rosalina after the extermination here, Friday.
The type of evidence destroyed consisted of class I narcotics of sabu-sabu 35,455 grams, ecstasy 64 pills, Carnophen Zenith 7,775 pills.
In addition, other dangerous drugs from various brands 850 pills. All were completely destroyed by putting into the water and blended so that they could not be misused.
Other evidence were two illegal firearms and 17 bullets, hundreds of cell phones, 19 sharp weapons, Rp750 thousand in fake money, 1,763 bottles of liquor and 440 liters of palm wine.
"The evidence that was destroyed came from 200 cases that have been handled since February 2018 and none of the defendants have been released because everything can be proven in court," he said.
The destruction of the evidence was led by the Head of the Banjarbaru Prosecutors Silvia Desty Rosalina accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Darmawan Jaya and the Banjarbaru Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Kelana Jaya.
