Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Attorney General's Office has set a record for the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) in carrying out hernia surgery with the most patients in a day in South Kalimantan.
"44 patients were realized undergoing hernia surgery at Banjarbaru Idaman Hospital on Saturday (10/27) afternoon to be recorded as MURI records," Deputy Director of MURI Osmar Sementa Susilo said on Sunday.
This MURI record in South Kalimantan is at the same time breaking a similar record in Central Lampung with 30 hernia patients on July 29, 2018.
The Head of Training and Education of the Attorney General's Office Setia Untung Arimuladi ensured that the social service activities did not only stop in South Kalimantan, but would continue to other areas so that more and more people would benefit from the AGO program.
"Until now there have been 17 thousand patients who underwent surgery ranging from cataracts, hernias to cervical cancer in various regions of the country. Of course, this is not an easy activity. We thank all those involved for helping, including the team of doctors and medical professionals," said Untung representing the Attorney General HM Prasetyo when delivering his remarks.
For the implementation of a free hernia and cataract operations in South Kalimantan, Untung thanked the South Kalimantan Prosecutor and his ranks as the host who was judged successful.
