Banjarbaru (Antaranews) - Attorney General Muhammad Prasetyo visited the Banjarbaru City Idaman Hospital (RSD) to see postoperative patients at the government hospital.
The Attorney General, accompanied by his wife Ros Ellyana Prasetyo, arrived Saturday. They were welcomed by Mayor Nadjmi Adhani and Deputy Mayor Darmawan Jaya Setiawan.
"Our arrival in order to see directly social service carried out by the prosecutors and ranks specifically in Banjarbaru which is filled with a hernia and cataract operations," Prasetyo said.
While at the hospital on Jalan Trikora, the attorney general came to a number of post-operative patients and invited them to chat casually.
After that, the attorney general went to the Banjarbaru Prosecutor's Office about 3 kilometers from the hospital to see dozens of people undergoing cataract surgery.
"We appreciate the attorney general's social service which is supported by the ranks of South Kalimantan prosecutors through two types of operations that are given free to the public," he said.
On the sidelines of his visit, the attorney general handed over compensation for the people who underwent surgery in order to support the social service program.
The mayor said his party was proud because Banjarbaru was selected by the attorney general to be the place for the implementation of social services.
"We are proud of Banjarbaru being the location of a social service especially hernia operations are carried out in Idaman Hospital and cataract operations in the prosecutor's office," he said.
