Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Government of Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, received as many as 18 internship doctors through the Indonesian Doctors Internship Program (PIDI), Tuesday (25/9).
"The internship of the PIDI program is distributed within the scope of the Tanah Laut Health Service," said the Regent of Tanah Laut H Sukamta in Pelaihari.
According to him, they were later placed in the District General Hospital H Boejasin Pelaihari for eight months and at Pelaihari Community Health Center (puskesmas) for four months.
"The duties of PIDI internship doctors in Tanah Laut from September 2018 to September 2019. They are from the nine Medicine Faculty in Indonesia," he said.
From these activities, he explained, it is planned that in 2019 all internship doctors receive benefits from the Tanah Laut Administration.
The event was also attended by the Acting head of Health Agency, Secretary of H Boejasin District Hospital, chairman of the IDI Tanah Laut Branch, Puskesmas Pelaihari head and accompanying doctors.
