Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Kotabaru State Prosecutor's Office destroyed 203,065 pills of various drugs that are evidence of drug crimes.
"Evidence destroyed are evidence of a general crime since April 2017 to March 2018," Kotabaru State Prosecutor's Office Chief Indah Laila said here on Monday.
She specified that the destroyed evidence consists of 11.276 grams of sabu-sabu, 5 ecstasy pills, 167,738 zenith pills, 4,187 dextro pills, 26,023 THD pills, and 5,112 double L.
Also destroyed liquor, mobile phones, products that do not meet the standards, mercury, borax, and potassium, cosmetics, sharp weapons, and other items.
She explained, looking at this destroyed evidence, it can be concluded that the dominant evidence is drugs. This shows that Kotabaru is one of the districts that are prone to drug abuse.
"Therefore, cooperation between all parties is needed, including the socialization of the danger of drug abuse," she explained.
Kotabaru Narcotics Agency (BNNK) Chairman H Burhanudin appealed to all elements of society to play an active role in the prevention of drug abuse since Kotabaru is in the emergence of drugs.
"Prevention can be done at least in the family environment, and where we live," pleaded the Vice Regent.
