Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - PT Pertamina has deployed four LPG carriers to accelerate the stock recovery process once weather conditions return to normal. 
Manager of Pertamina Marketing Operation Region (MOR) VI Kalimantan Yudi Nugraha said on Tuesday the deployment of the vessel became an additional effort after Pertamina optimized its onshore service, such as additional via land supply from the charging of Sampit LPG filling station 30 to 40 tons per day.
"We deployed 4 vessels to guarantee the daily need of 275 metric tons (MT) of 3 kg subsidized LPG in South Kalimantan and 75 MT for non-subsidized LPG which have been delayed for several days," he said.
According to Yudi, when the weather conditions were still bad, the supply from the sea is still carried out by sending 3 LPG cargo ships with a total load of 2,550 tons.
Starting Monday (26/02) 4 cargo ships have managed to bring LPG cargo to South Kalimantan with total cargo up to 3220 MT for once transport.
Another effort to speed up the process of charging, Pertamina has increased work hours up to 4 hours per day in LPG depot Banjarmasin.
Related to stocks in the field, with the available cargo loads Pertamina is targeting in 2 days the stock return to normal with the condition of people not panic buying or purchase excessively, in order to maintain the normal condition of the availability of LPG.
In addition, to get 3 kg LPG price according to Highest Retail Price (HET) Pertamina unceasingly appealed to people to buy only at Pertamina official base. The current HET in Banjarmasin in accordance with South Kalimantan Governor's Decree is Rp 17,500.
