Tanjung, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Crime with Violence (Jatanras) police shot swallow nest thieves attacking the police in Murung Pudak, Tabalong District, South Kalimantan.
The incident took place when police arrested the thieves on Jalan Gunung Batu, Murung Pudak District.
Tabalong Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Hardiono in Tanjung, Friday, said two perpetrators have been caught, Uri (27) and Kam (27). Actually, he added, there were three swallow nest thieves, but only two who the police successfully secured.
Crime Detective Unit Chief Suryo Kartiko told, at the time of the arrest the perpetrators tried to attack the police, so the police shot their legs.
The arrest of the theft was assisted by the Murud Pudak Criminal Unit Police and both suspects have been secured.
The capture of the swallow nest thief stems from the victim's M Fahmi (37), a resident of Jalan Bangun Sari, Belimbing Raya Urban Village, report that the theft occurred in his building.
By destroying the lock of the entrance, the perpetrators entered and did their act. As a result of this theft, he claimed to lose Rp5 million.
The police, secured some evidence, including a bag containing a swallow's nest weighing half a kilogram and cutting iron scissors.
