Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - Members of South Kalimantan Police Crime with Violence Unit (Jatanras) again found the remaining money from Bank Mandiri robbery as much as Rp360,000,000, Saturday (6/1) afternoon.


"The rest of the money was found in the same location in Astambul, Martapura," said Director of General Crime Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of South Kalimantan Police Sr Comr Sofyan Hidayat in Banjarmasin on Sunday.

According to Sofyan, the money was found after the police again conducted a search at a suspect Yongki's friend house.

"After the findings, we submit the evidence directly to Bank Mandiri to be deposited," explained Sofyan accompanied by Subdit 3 Jatanras head Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Afebrianto Widhi Nugroho.

When asked about a shortfall of about Rp40.000.000, Sofyan said police members are still trying to do development.

The Rp360,000,000 confiscated consists of Rp50,000 denominations worth Rp260,000,000 and Rp100,000 denominations worth Rp100,000,000.

Delivery of evidence to the management of Bank Mandiri was done on Saturday night at the Office of Ditreskrimum attended by Head of Public Relations of South Kalimantan Police Adj Sr Comr Mochamad Rifai.

Previously, a joint team of South Kalimantan Police who uncovered Bank Mandiri customers money robbery seized evidence of money worth Rp4.390.000.000 of the total Rp10 billion robbed.

Then, the police found again Rp5,2 billion at the home of a friend of the Yongki suspect in Astambul on Friday (5/1) night.

Because there is still a remaining of about Rp400 million, police chief ordered his men to conduct a thorough ransack in the home where Yongki put the money.
