The scent of the bushfire could also be smelled in several areas in Banjarmasin, since Saturday night.

Regarding the land fires, Secretary of Commission III of the DPRD South Kalimantan H Riswandi SIP expected all stakeholders should make every effort to minimize land and forest fires.

Similarly, all level of society to be more careful to dispose of cigarettes in order to avoid bushfires, because it can cause smoke haze, said the Secretary of Commission III which also in charge of the environment.
