Corruption suspect being examined in prison

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 26/8 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Corruption crime investigators of Kotabaru's Detective Police Unit conducted examination on the suspect of an alleged corruption case in Banjarmasin correctional facility.

"The examination is to complete the case file of suspect R as the head of Kotabaru Public Works Agencyin 2014," said Head Operation of Kotabaru Police Comr Arief Prasetya in Kotabaru on Saturday.

He said the suspect was entangled in alleged corruption on dam construction projects in 2014. He was known to act as Budget User Authority (KPA) and Committing Officer (PPK) on the project.

Arief revealed the examination was led by Head of Corruption Unit Sec. Insp. (Ipda) M Amir Hasan in the Hall of Class II A Banjarmasin Prison.

In the examination which lasted for approximately four hours, the suspect at was accompanied by his lawyer Tri Warman SH.

"We are grateful to the Banjarmasin Prison that has facilitated the examination very well," said Head of Operation.
