Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Development Planning Board 
(Bappeda) is mapping potential investment that can still be offered to domestic and foreign investors as in the 2018 Government Work Plan (RKP) that has been set.


Secretary of Bappeda dr Ariadi Noor in Banjarbaru on Wednesday said the provincial government through the relevant technical agencies has been keen to take promotional steps to increase investment in the region.

The development strategy, he said, is in line with the development theme based on the 2018 Government Work Plan (RKP), which is to encourage national economic growth through the increase of national investment.

Various strategic steps to support the realization of South Kalimantan as a prospective area for investors has been done by local governments with a population of 4,119,797 inhabitants.

One of them is to map potential investment, especially in agriculture, plantation, economy, including tourism.

The provincial government is also improving the quality of infrastructure, increasing energy capacity development and implementing one-stop licensing services in an effort to facilitate services for investors.

In addition to improving the various administrative requirements that must be obeyed by all related parties, both government and investors.

One of the important requirements and become Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), before getting the recommendation of investment permit, that is to obey the applicable juridical provisions, in addition to aspects of environmental governance.

"The hard work to realize South Kalimantan as a prospective area of investment objectives continues to be done and it has become the commitment of South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor to increase regional investment growth," he said.
