Tanjung, South Kalimantan 19/7 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Remote Indigenous Community (KAT) Sialing in Haruai Sub-district, Tabalong, South Kalimantan, will get assistance from PT Adaro Indonesia in the form of clean water facilities.

Head of Tabalong Social Agency Yuhani in Tanjung onWednesday said about 45 families in Sialing Hamlet, Nawin Village, Haruai, do not have clean water facilities.

"The location of KAT is far from the river and local residents need water facilities to have a settled life, more comfortable and healthy. The Adaro's CSR program will be realized this year," Yuhani said.

Funds for clean water facilities for remote housing in Sialing hamlet through CSR this year amounted to Rp325 million.

The KAT housing is built with the assistance of the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2016, but without sanitation facilities, clean water facilities and power lines.

Nawin Village Head Marhani said at KAT location has also been built one roof elementary school as well as meeting hall all funded from 2016 local budget  (APBD).

The clean water supply from Adaro Indonesia this year is also provided to the villagers of Padang Panjang, Tanta Sub-district.

It also provides raw water supply for Maburai Village and pipeline care in Padang Panjang Laburan for 320 families.
