Batulicin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Secretary of State (Setneg) entourage visited Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, to review and follow up the plan to relocate the Indonesian capital city from Jakarta.
Head of Tanah Bumbu Information and Communications Agency Ardiansyah in Batulicin on Wednesday said the Secretary of State entourage will be arriving on Wednesday (12/7) at around 16.00 Wita.
"The team will arrive at Syamsudin Noor Airport at around 08.30-09.30 to go to the residence of South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor in Banjarmasin," he said.
Then at about 09.30-12.00 the team held a meeting with the governor and continued with lunch.
The Setneg team to board a plane to Kotabaru at around 13.50-14.30 and is scheduled to land in at 14.30-15.30 to continue the journey to Tanah Bumbu through sea lane.
"The information we received there are three high officials and some staff who come to Tanah Bumbu. They will conduct a three-day review at some points those have been prioritized by the team," he said.
Meanwhile, the local government is only preparing to welcome the team to Tanan Bumbu as one of the candidates of the capital of the Republic of Indonesia together with Kotabaru on the island of Kalimantan.
"The latest information about Palangkaraya which had become the capital city candidate is failed. It did not fulfill the requirement, because the area is dominated by peat, while Tanah Bumbu land is so hard that it is considered feasible," he explained.
