Four children glue party told to Shalat Taubat

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - East Banjarmasin Sector Police when on a patrol secured four minors who were caught gathering and feasting on Fox glue.

"Two boys and two girls allegedly all sniffed glue fox, after we secured all were told to do Shalat Taubat (a repent prayer) as a form of guiding," said East Banjarmasin police chief Comr (Kompol) Dese Yulianti SH in Banjarmasin, Friday.

She said the four underage children were secured on Thursday (29/6) night at around 22:30 pm while sucking glue on Jalan Pekapuran Raya, East Banjarmasin.

"We got reports from the local community that the scene is often used by some children for Fox glue party. After we have investigated it is true," she said.

The four children were then led to East Banjarmasin Sector Police with the evidence of seven cans of Fox glue they use to be sniffed.

Parents of each child were called to come to the police office to see and pick up their child.

"This time we only put in data and give guidance  and their parents are also given advice to monitor their children properly. If later caught again then we give strict sanctions," said the former West Banjarmasin police chief again.

Before they were discharged, the four children were asked to perform Shalat Taubat, and after that they signed the statement so as not to repeat their misdeed.

The four children who smoked the glue were MR (19), MF (15), FR (14) women, and PA (15) women, all residents of East Banjarmasin Subdistrict.
